Shannon Powell

Shannon comes to CLC College Prep with 15 years of experience in secondary education, including 10 years as a high school guidance counselor. In her role as school counselor, Shannon has conducted countless college planning meetings with families and has guided more than 700 seniors through the college admission process. She has helped students gain admission to college campuses in all 50 states, as well as abroad. She looks forward to helping families discover colleges that are a great "fit" and continuing her dynamic work with CLC students.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University
